The standard rescue mat measures 60cm (W) x 185cm (L), making it ideal for Residential Aged Care facilities & general public use.
Three handles on each side, plus more at the head and feet, enable six to eight people to carry the mat if needed. There is also an additional body strap at the mid section to allow the straps to form an 'X' across the patient's body or straight across the patient at their chest, hips, and shins.
There is also a thermal blanket stored in the foot pocket for patient comfort or as a safety restraint if the patient tries to remove themselves from the mat while in transit. The AlbacMat can still be used without the thermal cover as the patients' feet will still rest in the foot pocket.
