Product function – two-layer compression bandage system
Mechanism Of Action  –  Urgo K2lite is a compression bandage system providing 20mmHg to aid in the treatment of venous leg ulcers and associated chronic venous oedema. Can be left intact for up to 7 days.
Recommended use –Urgo K2lite is indicated for the treatment of mixed aetiology leg ulcers. In case of peri wound infection, ensure infection is treated prior to applying compression. In case of unusual aetiology such as vasculitis, pyoderma gangrenosum, etc. ensure a specialist referral recommends compression therapy.
Precautions – Ensure a holistic wound assessment is completed including a Doppler ultrasound before starting this treatment. Ensure ABPI is >0.6 before application of Urgo K2lite. In the case of diabetes, heart failure or advanced micro-vascular disease, ensure close monitoring by a health professional.  Urgo K2lite is contraindicated for known or suspected arterial disease, ABPI < 0.6. Urgo K2lite has traces of latex. If you have an allergy or sensitivity to latex, you will need to purchase the latex free option.
