BD Vacutainer SST II Advance Tubes are used to obtain and separate a plasma sample. They contain Silica to activate clotting of the specimen, and a gel that forms a barrier between the clot and serum after centrifugation. Available in sizes 3.5ml, 5ml, 8.5ml.
