Apply as necessary to instruments where lubrication is required. Apply to wounds as required. If irritation occurs, stop use immediately and seek medical advice.
Not for ophthalmic use. Single use only.
Adverse effects of soft paraffin are rare when used in topical preparations, but sensitivity reactions and acne have been reported following topical use.
ARTG No. 155358 (lubricant), ARTG No 155368 (occlusive wound dressing): White Soft Paraffin BP Sterile is supplied in single use 5g and 10g tubes. Each tube contains White Soft Paraffin BP sterilised by gamma irradiation. Check pack integrity before use. The contents of the tube are sterile until opened. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
