- Fast immobilisation of fractures
- Leno cloth for good conformability and stability
- Rich creamy texture
- Low plaster loss
- Moisture resistant packaging
Gypsona® Plaster of Paris (POP) bandages are made from a leno cloth, uniformly impregnated with a high quality fast setting Plaster of Paris, which has a rich creamy texture for easy handling. The interlocked weave of the leno cloth makes the wet bandages stable, conformable and easy to mould and minimises plaster loss.
Gypsona® retains the Plaster of Paris on the cloth so plaster loss is at a minimum whilst soaking and when being moulded. The cloth permits Gypsona® to be accurately and easily moulded to give a smooth inside surface and uniform thickness. Gypsona® will set and harden quickly to give strong immobilisation for trauma and corrective work.
