W.A iExaminer Smart Bracket Accessory

The new Welch Allyn iExaminer turns the PanOptic Ophthalmoscope into a mobile digital imaging device allowing you to view and take pictures of the eye as you've never done before. The adapter aligns the optical access of the PanOptic Ophthalmoscope to the visual axis of the iPhone camera to capture high-resolution* pictures of the fundus and retinal nerve. The iExaminer App then allows you to store the pictures in a patient file or email and print them. And, because the PanOptic Ophthalmoscope provides a 5x larger view of the fundus than a standard Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope and 25° field-of-view without having to dilate the pupil, the fundus imaging can happen anytime, anywhere.

The new Hillrom Next Generation iExaminer Smart Bracket allows a user to connect a smartphone to quickly switch from an optical exam to capturing a digital image when using the new MacroView Plus LED Otoscope (238-3) and or the new PanOptic Plus Ophthalmoscope (118-3) diagnostic heads.

Included are two Smart Clips, each with a self-adhesive strip. One Smart-Clip is needed to attach to your existing smartphone case to enable coupling to the iExaminer Smart Bracket.

The other Smart-Clip is a spare or for use with another smartphone. Affixing the Smart Clips to your smartphone case is easy to do.

The 11840-IEX iExaminer Smart Bracket allows you to switch from an optical exam to a digital exam when paired with the iExaminer Pro App, your smart device, and either the MacroView Plus Otoscope (238-3) or the Ophthalmoscope Plus (118-3).
